Information about the content

The basics of business administration and economics are taught through lectures, exercises and tutorials, seminars and a business simulation game. This includes business management modules and subjects such as:

Business management basics

  • Cost and Revenue Accounting, Financial Reporting/External Rewe, Production, Marketing, Investment and Financing, Fundamentals of Leadership, Strategic Management, Operations Research, Business Informatics, Logistics, Taxes + Auditing, Organization Theory, Industrial Services

and the economic modules like:

  • Introduction to economics and economic policy, microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, basics of sustainable management

Lectures on mathematics and statistics as well as civil and corporate law complement the curriculum. In integrative courses there is the opportunity to deal with current issues of business and technology ethics and to venture a look into other disciplines such as social sciences or computer science. Interactive courses also teach and apply so-called soft skills: skills such as self and time management, presentation and moderation techniques.

Key data on the course

In addition to the obligatory modules/lectures, participation in two seminars and a business simulation game is planned in the course of the study. A bachelor thesis will then show whether you have learned to work scientifically. The bachelor thesis is written during the last semesters of the course of study.
